Present your creative products, projects and ideas at WONDER Festival.
WONDER?
WONDER is a festival for design, innovation, technology and art, but above all, it is unique in Belgium as a platform and connector for creative, innovative, sustainable, digital and social ideas, projects and products.
WONDER is organised by Designregio Kortrijk. In 2025, we welcomed more than 18,000 visitors along a route of 34 locations focusing on design, art, technology and innovation. More than 500 participating designers, companies, students and artists exhibited in the 60 exhibitions and installations. Our visitors are a mix of leisure visitors with a creative and/or entrepreneurial background or interest, families, professionals and educators.
In 2026, the festival will run from Tuesday 27 October to Sunday 8 November (closed on Mondays). The festival will mainly take place on and around Buda Island in Kortrijk, with the Buda Factory as the main location. We will also leave room for a few off-site locations.

Who can participate?
Submissions for WONDER can be made under one of the following categories:
- Category 1: you are a designer, artist or collective
- Category 2: you are an organisation in the field of education, knowledge and culture, a gallery, professional design studio or commercial enterprise
- Category 3: you are a company

What do we offer our participants?
In 2026, we expect more than 18,000 visitors from all over Belgium. Selected participants will be included in the official programme. This means:
- you will be listed as a participant on the website, Instagram and in the printed brochure
- you will receive a comprehensive online communication package
- we will provide signage
- you will be invited to the festive opening event.
In addition, we strive to create a creative and vibrant community in which everyone strengthens each other.
Next steps
You can participate until Thursday, 16 April 2026.
- Your submission will be presented to a professional jury at the end of April.
- You will be notified in early May whether or not you have been selected.
- Selected participants will receive a disclaimer from us to sign, as a participant and/or venue owner.
- In May and early June, the programme will be finalised and we will keep in touch about the location and presentation.
- In mid-June, the website with the initial programme will go live and a save-the-date will be distributed.
- On Friday 29 August, we will organise an information session for participants at 12:00.
- At the beginning of September, we will launch the festival communication, which will run until shortly after the festival.
All details and deadlines will be communicated to the selected participants in good time.
